Details of classes, workshops & events 2018

We are continuing to run weekly classes in Newick and Hadlow Down, and from March a new weekly class in Hove.  Monthly workshops are being arranged for the Spring in Hove and Uckfield.   Classes will lead towards participating in  celebratory events on World Health QiGong Day in  August 2018 .  Make sure you are kept up to date by e-mailing us with your details.

Class on Fridays for students who would welcome the chance to calm and unify body and spirit in a set of moving meditations. Students will learn a combination of three Health QiGong Sets, designed by the Chinese Health Qigong Association using the most up-to-date scientific research.

Newick Tai Chi Improvers Weekly @ Newick Barn Centre

This is a weekly term time class on Monday mornings for those who have learned the first 15 moves of the Chen Tai Chi ‘form’. If you have experience of the Chen form, then this class will be for you. The students in this class are very supportive and inclusive.

 

 

Hadlow Down Qigong Beginners drop-in @ Hadlow Down Village Hall
Feb 25 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

This weekly drop-in class on Monday mornings is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience of Qigong (Chi Gung) and Tai Chi. The classes are small and friendly, the venue accessible. The focus is on relaxation and students will be led through  short Qigong sequences for health improvement

A drop-in class, this will involve easy to learn sets of calming, energising exercises drawn from Chen Tai Chi and Qi Gong. These relaxed, mindful, flowing movement sequences have many health benefits including improvements in flexibility, strength and balance. All ages and abilities are welcome.
